Win one's heart

Could anybody correct the sentences below for me?

Is “Win one’s heart” only used between boy friend and girl friends?

Does it only mean make sb fall in love with someone?

(1) I finally won her heart.

(2) Money and appearance are not enough to won the girl’s heart.

Can I use it between friends, bosses, parents and sons, and teachers like the sentences?

(1) I won my teacher’s heart by giving her a card on the Teacher’s Day.

(2) I am used to answering a lot of questions to win my teacher’s heart.

(3) I want to get a good result to win my mother’s heart.

Can I use it in the disapproving ways(I means winning one’s heart just for my own benefits or winning one’s heart so that I can exploit him.), like the example below?

(1) I flatter my boss to win his heart, so that I will be promoted faster.

Could anybody help me with the questions above?

Many thanks in advance.
