The question is "how successfully do the works of Blake represent his 'mental fight' against compromise, hypocrisy, and authoritarian impositions". The list of poems i have been given to choose from is:
-songs of innocence and experience, the book of thel, the marriage of heaven and hell the book of urizen, auguries of innocence.
I was hoping to write on the marriage of heaven and hell, because it's hopefully long enough to wirte my entire essay on, and it's is full of these attributes; mostly to do with the hypocrisy of religion and their impositions. What i need is someone to discuss this with and hopefull gain insights i would have otherwise missed. Can anyone help?
