Will/going to

Look at this careless boy on the balcony! He is going to fall or will fall in the street.

I am going to do or will do my homework as soon as I reach home.

Mary said to me, "I don't know that the ocean is deeper than the sea." If I want to change this sentence into indirect speech, it will be 'Mary told me that she didn't know that the ocean is or was deeper than the sea.

Thanks

Thanks for help but I have a question. Why 'was deeper' not 'is deeper'? Isn't it a fact?
