Well, it looks OK now, so that's good.

I am going to .... (because I'm hungry). 'going to' expresses a plan to solve the hunger problem.

This could be either one. As a response to some sort of urging or coaxing to do the homework, I will do it soon, because that's like a promise. As a response to a question about why his or her desk has pens, paper, and open books on it, I'm going to do my homework soon, because it explains what's on the desk.
