Will you have finished your homework (yet) when I come?

1)Will you have finished your homework (yet) when I come?

"Yet" is possible in that sentence?
Does it add any meaning to the sentence?

Hi, I have never seen/hear the use of "yet" in future perfect tense. I believe "yet" indicates whether an action has happened in the past. Therefore, using it in a context referring to future is wrong.
