Will you come...?

A: Will you come to our party tonight? B: ___, but I ‘ll have an important meeting.

A. I’ll come B. I’d like coming C. I’d love to D. I like it.
The answer is "C. I'd love to". Why not A. I'll come"? I choose "A" because the respondent want to make a promise. However, I think it's better if we say "Yes, but I....". Thanks

C is the correct because it is an unrealistic situation, that is, he cannot go the party owing to his meeting.

I will come to the party if you can take me. This is an open condition.

I would willfully help you if I had money. This is unreal situation, like the one given by you.
