Will vs will be

I am learning the difference between simple future vs future continuous.

I have made up the following sentence but unable to understand the implied meaning.

Will you be coming to the party?

Vs

Will you come to the party?

Thanks

"Will you be coming ...?" has the sense of asking about a decision that has already been made, whereas "Will you come ...?" is an invitation or request to come.
