Will vs will be

I’ll post your letter for you. I’ll be passing a post-box.

Would "will pass a post-box" be wrong? I am really confused between "will" and "will be" in the future tense!

Not wrong, but not natural. We'd typically say I'll be passing a postbox or I'm passing a postbox .
