Will vs Shall

Hi ,

I read online that we should use "shall" with the pronoun of I and We.

"will" is used for the other pronoun such as he, she and they

Can I check whether is it wrong to use will with I ?

e.g. I will do the homework tonight

This is a traditional rule that many people nowadays ignore or are unaware of. "I/we will" (in conversation often contracted to "I'll"/"we'll") is widely used and accepted. Generally speaking, the use of the word "shall" is steadily declining, as evidenced by the graph below:
