WILL or WOULD

Hello.

Why shouldn't you fight a bully?

1) You shouldn't fight a bully because it WILL make things worse.

2) You shouldn't fight a bully because it WOULD make things worse.

Are the two answers both grammatically correct?

Is there a difference in meaning between the two?

Thank you

#1 expresses certainty. #2 is more suggestive, as an advisory.
