Will or would

I am trying to figure out if there is any difference between (a) and (b)

(a) Regarding work, I would be available for the next 3 weeks (I assume here I am not 100% sure of my availability)

(b) Regarding work, I will be available for the next 3 weeks (here I assume I am 100% sure)

Am I correct?

Your interpretations are one correct approach, but when applying for work, I think the more expected interpretation of ( a) is 'I would be available [if you were kind enough to offer me the job].'

Thank you for your help. To clarify, if someone asks me about my availability for the month of November or December, I should say in my letter that

"I would be available for work next month."

If you are eager to work, use 'will'.
