Will or going to?

"Sarah will come to the party. Oliver is going to be there as well."

The test I've just taken has told me that in the first sentence should be "will come" instead of "is going to come".

I know it might be hard to explain it precisely when the sentence is a bit lifted out of context. This is, however, how it was in the test. Well, do you have any idea?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much, Clive and CJ.

I know well that future tenses are more interchangeable than the other tenses and particularly in this sentence which isn't even that clear from context are more options possible.
