Will not be hungry ever again

Can one say
a. Give a man a fish and he will not be hungry for a day. Teach him to fish and he will not be hungry for the rest of his life.
b. Give a man a fish and he will not be hungry for a day. Teach him to fish and he will not be hungry forever.

c. Give a man a fish and he will not be hungry for a day. Teach him to fish and he will never be hungry again.
?

This is a famous proverb that has been translated into English.

I feel pretty confident about (c). I am unsure about (a) and (b). My feeling is that (a) works, but is ambiguous. I have stronger doubts about (b).

Many thanks.
