Will, Mary, You, Me

Tonight's Will & Grace in the UK (Series 3, I think) had a joke constructed around the Mary / Marry thing. Grace is asking the man she wants to propose how he would seat a dinner party if she and he were to invite Will and their friend Mary. Eventually she gets the right order 'Will, You, Mary, Me'' and screams 'Yes, of course I'll marry you!'

I've seen a few episodes. The reruns that run late at night. I think it's a kind of stupid show with a few, very few, bright spots of humor. I really

It might be something that the writers like to do. I've only watched that sitcom a few times, but one of them was an episode featuring flashbacks of how Will and Gr

[nq:1]The problem is that you can't say "I really don't like that show." without coming across as homophobic. You end up tagging on some lame comment like "It's not because of the gay part..".[/nq]
Unless it IS because of the ***. I think that's the most common case.

The character that is the most "out" is the only bright spot in the show. Will is Sominex in shoes and Grace is ham on legs.

ISTM that the joke would work just as well whether Will's "Mary" was the same as his "marry" or different (if anything, it would be slightly better if they were dif

The supporting characters, Jack and Karen, are much more interesting than Will and Grace.
