'will' is prediction?

My teacher told me that 'will' is prediction. But I thought I read it somewhere on the internet that 'would' is prediction, or like not quite sure if it's going to happen in the future? Which one is correct?

Both "will" and "would" can be used for prediction. "Would" is more tentative (less certain) than "will."
