will have..... , would have...

Hi!

Can you explain to me why will have... and not would have... is used in these sentences?

‘I wanted to watch The Simpsons last night, but I missed it.’
‘I’m certain Derek will have recorded it. We can go over to his place to see.’

I’m sure by now you will have heard about yesterday’s robbery at the supermarket.
