Will have gone

Hello,

I'm not sure if I should use the future perfect continuous or not?

There is a field trip to mountain tomorrow morning and it will be counted for 50% of the final grade but the man can't take part in it since he has to vist his sick grandfather in a hospital. So, He will be back in town tomorrow afternoon when his friends will have gone on a trip. His friend suggest that man try to meet them on the mountain, but he is worried that he may not find the path and be lost. Thank you in advance.
