will be vs should be
While I was preparing for a test, I got the questions below.
If Mr. Metts is promoted, as I sincerely hope he __________, he will have to move to Chicago.
(a) could
(b) will be
(c) should
(d) should be
I had 'will be' in mind, but the answer sheet pointed at 'should be'. (I can not totally believe the answer sheet, because it comes from a internet site back my conutry.) Doee 'should be' is right here?
