For this sentence, would you say "I am" or "I will be"?

I am working from 7am to noon today.

I will be working from 7am to noon today.

if i say "i am," then that means it's already 7am?

but if i say "i will be," then that means it isn't 7am yet?

No! You can say either one any time between approximately 5 am and 10 am!
