Will and Going/ Future Tense

Hi! Is there any difference in meaning between "will" and "going to" for the below conversations? Thanks. Fulvio


Conversation 1

A: What will you do on the weekend?

B: Not sure.

Conversation 2

A: What are you going to do on the weekend?

B: Not sure.

Conversation 3

A: What will the weather be like tomorrow?

B: It will be fine.

Conversation 4

A: What is the weather going to be like tomorrow?

B: It will be cloudy.

I'd use 'going to' in both cases, i.e., I'd use 2 and 4.

It seems a little odd to me to start a conversation with a question that has 'will'.
