'Will' after 'when'

Which of the following sentences is correct?


1- John, in future there will be many instances when you will get a lot money but you will not get a friend like me.


2- John, in future there will be many instances when you get a lot money but you do not get a friend like me.

Use the second sentence. Shall and will are usually not used in temporal subordinate clauses and if-clauses:

I'll do it when/after/before/if he comes.

The future tense can be used in main clauses, though:

I'd say they are both correct. This is not a case where one thing will happen when (because, as soon as) another happens, so the combination of when with will is not objectionable.
