In common American English, the word shall is almost NEVER used anymore.

It's considered a word that only people who consider themselves a higher social standing than other people would use. This word is almost extinct from American English today.

The only times it is seen written or spoken in the USA is when the speaker or writer is a Non Native American writer or speak

I have a feeling I've asked this question here before, but in AmE do you not even use it for "Shall we...?" questions? If not, what do you say instead?

I typed the reply and then my internet disconnected. Arg! Here it is again.

The word "shall" is not really used in the USA anymore. Maybe among the upper class, it would be acceptable, and I do mean upper class. I am not from the upper, upper class, but I have worked in professional environments and have associated with professional like minded people most of my life.
