what is the difference between ( will ) and ( would )...for e.g.

your father would be ashamed of you ...... your father will be ashamed of you

Will is used for something that has been done, or is occurring.

Would is conditional, as stated in a previous post. It would be used IF something were to occur.
(notice that would and if are used in that sentence together)
