Widower seeking widows

I am new to English and there seems to be some gray area regarding this. But basically I am looking for a women that is a widow, because I am a widower and I feel like we are coming from a similar area of love. However, I don't want to ask directly for widows because I don't want to offend. Are there better ways to say this?
