Why past tense is not used in these samples

Hello please if you can help me

In an english book I saw these sentences

  1. I thought he was serious until I saw him wink at me to show he was joking
  2. I saw the motorist get out of his car and glare furiously at other driver

My question is why the verbs wink , get and glare are used in present tense I expect them to be used in past tense like:

I thought he was serious until I saw him winked at me to show he was joking

I saw the motorist got out of his car and glared furiously at other driver

Thanks

Because after the verbs of perception "see, hear, listen, watch, etc....", you are required to use the bare infinitive form "wink, get out, glare" or the gerund "winking, getting out, glaring".

For example:

I saw Khosravi wink at my friend.

I heard Khosravi speak to the people.

I watched the man run in the street.

Or you can say the following:

I saw K
