Why not two participle phrases placed next to each other

1. The man is coming here singing. or

or

2. the man is coming towards us singing.

My question is that why "ing" phrase is not placed next to each other. Is it possible to place 'ing' phrase next to each other like "the man is oming singing.or the man is coming singing towards us"?
