Why NOT to watch a movie again...

Watched it with a friend last night who hadn't seen it before. Noticed something I glossed through before... At the big party/finale when Phil is playing the piano, the piano teacher gloating says to Andie McDowel's character, "He's my student!" How does she know that?

A better line would have been, "He started lessons with me this afternoon," or something like that.

I love this movie, and own the script (remind me to read it again), and Bill Murray is great, as always. BUT I never understood Andie McDowell's appeal. This, and in 4 Weddingss etc - so many truly adorable actresses were out there, why her?

I love this movie, and own the script (remind me to read it again), and Bill Murray is great, as always.
BUT I never understood Andie McDowell's appeal. This, and in 4 Weddingss etc - so many truly adorable actresses were out there, why her? Am I missing the Andie point?

That's actually one of my favorite bits in the movie (well, I have a lot of them), and I think it's a great line:
