why not " I am having a toothache"?

Hi.

As I know the form which is like " be ~ing ~" is expressing about current state.

So I think " I am having a toothache" it's OK.
But someone said It's not good " I am having a toothache"

No. "have a toothache" is a stative concept. There is no action. There is no motion. It's a feeling.

I am having a piece of cake(I am eating a piece of cake) is different. It's a dynamic concept. There is action. There is motion.
