Why not " haven't been playing tennis"?

Hi.

what if someone asked me that " Do you still play tennis?"
then I think the probably answer is this

"No I haven't been paying tennis"

But my textbook said the answer is "No I haven't played tennis"

Why not does it form like "been+ ~ing" ?

What if this? Yes. I have been playing tennis. ?

I'm confused between have + p.p. and have been + ~ing
