Why is there a "d" at the end of agreed bm

HI there, Why is there a "d" at the end of agreed

NASA has agreed to pay $19 million for a Russian-built toilet system for the international space station.

One more thing, why is there a dash between Russian and Built?

Thank You Very Much

Top answer

1-- 'agreed' is the past participle of 'agree'. 2-- The dash creates the single adjective, ' Russian-built ', so we understand that the toilet system was built by Russians, and is not owned by Russians and built by them or someone else.
