Why is that?

Hi! everyone.
I want to know what is the difference between the following? Which one is correct and why? Can both be used interchangeably ?
1- I want to know what are those multiple personalities that I have used?
2-I want to know what those multiple personalities are that I have used?
Isn't first one wrong? I mean "are" should have been put at the end of the first sentence.
Another sentence like the first one-: I want to know what is the best way of getting rid of dandelions on my lawn, apart from digging them up? Can you please explain to me syntactically?
Thanks.

These are correct: I want to know what those multiple personalities are that I have used. I want to know what the best way of getting rid of dandelions on my lawn is, apart from digging them up. Of course, if you find the correct construction awkward, then you should recast: What are those multiple personalities I have used?

Could you tell me why you didn't put question mark at the end of the above sentences?

They are not questions; they are statements. 'I want to know' + O.
