Why is it said ''I don't have words to thank you''?
Why is it said ''I don't have words to thank you?'' We simply say "thank you, thank you for the favor, thank you for your help, etc", so what other words do we need in order to be more thankful?

I think the idea is that I don't have words to thank you ENOUGH or ADEQUATELY. I can't express the full extent of how much I appreciate something.
