Why is it not verbally?

I have hard time to understand, when she says "Why is it not verbally?"

Maybe that imply to interaction? or to relationship that is not inloved verbally stuff?

How can I be this hard to love? Why am I this hard to love?

Why is it not verbally? Not physically? Not intimately? Not in any way, how can I be this hard to love and to be with him?

She flubbed her lines. This is scripted, and right after that she uses "verbally" properly when she remembers what she was supposed to say, "If you have nothing for me, not verbally, not emotionally, not physically". She means that he never says he loves her or anything like that.
