"Why is he tall?"
Suddenly, I became curious to know if I can use the sentence when people think he is tall although I think he is not tall?
When I cannot agree that he is tall, can I say that?
And the answer to the question should be factual like Because his parents both are tall or he eats a lot, etc?
What do you native English speakers think?
Thank you so much as usual in advance!

"Why is he tall?" cannot be used as a standalone sentence. There would have to be additional words attached to it, for example:
"Why is he tall when his parents are both under 5 feet?"
