Why don't you go here?

I have tried explaining to my friends that using "go here" instead of "come here" is wrong. Such as:

Me: We might visit you guys on either Saturday or Monday.
Friends: Why don't you go here tomorrow?

It might be a very simple reason why but could you guys help me explain to my friends why I'm right and they were wrong.

THanks

"come" should be used when we move towards the person who is speaking, e.g. "come here" where here refers to your friends' place.

"go" is more general and is used to mean moving from one place to another, e.g., "go there

from where you are to the reciever's location we use "go"

thus we say "go to a place"

from the reciever's location to where you are we use "come"

thus we say "please come in" (the person speaking is inside the room; the person he's talking to is outdside)

  • I went home late. (from another place to my house)

  • I came hom

and to add to the above the two phrases are "go there" and "come here"
We use "go there" when we want whoever to go to some other place.
We use "come here" when we want whoever to come to us here.
