why don't we call 【east london】 instead of 【east end of london】,what's "end of " for?

I'm in the US, and I'm not familiar with London geography or speech, but these are apparently used in different situations, for example: He's an East London boy. ) He's from the East End of London. )

I'm in the US, and I'm not familiar with London geography or speech, but these are apparently used in different situations, for example:

He's an East London boy. (Not: "an East End of London boy." The reason is apparently for euphony, that is, better rhythm.)

He's from the East End of London. (Not "from East London." Again, the reason is apparently euphony.)

Yes, the East End is the name of a part of London. It's not really the end of anything. "end" is sometimes used to mean "district".
