Why do you think people attend college or university?

Hi, my name is Tung. I come from VietNam. I'm practising writing and this is my essay. Can you correct it for me and give me some piece of advice? Thank a lots.
Why do you think people attend college or university?
Knowledge is owned of every people and college or university is good place for learning.
The first, when you attend college or university that you can get more new experiences for your major, your habit. College have many fields for learning so you can choose whatever fields you wanted to learn and interesting at.
The second, learning in university make you increased much knowledge and can be more professional. College and university has clearly course which helps you don’t go to wrong way and learning faster. In this environment you have more change to make friend who have the same major, hobbies, sense of purpose. College has very lot of lecturer and professor supposes your study programs, too.
The third, after you graduate your college, your bachelor helps you get your foot in good career preparation or good jobs.
With many good reasons, I think people attend college or university.
