Why + do you think + a clause?

Hi, Please look at this sentence: "Why do you think they drink the soda instead of the fruit juice?" .......If I want to change it to mean negatively, "Why don't they drink the soda but the fruit juice? What do you think? " , should I make this sentence like this, "Why do you think they don't drink the soda but the fruit juice?" ......Or "Why don't you think they drink the soda but the fruit juice?" .......Which one is correct? .......Thanks

Here you ask the person what makes think they prefer juice to soda.
Why don't you think they drink the soda but the fruit juice?
This is more like asking the person why at all he has such a thought.
