Why do you say...present simple and future

Here two setences, I want to know why the second one is not correct.

1. "Next time I see him, I will(e.g. verb infinitve form or gerund).
2. "Next time I will see him, I will(e.g. verb infinitve form or gerund).

the first is correct, but why is the second one not?

e. ". )---> next time I see him .

  • e.
  • ".
  • )---> next time I see him .
  • You can't use the future tense in subordinate clauses of time, you can only use the present tense.
  • )---> as soon as Dad comes from work.

"Next time I see him" is a subordinate clause of time, i.e. a clause to which you can put the question "when?". Like this: I will tell him everything ---(when?)---> next time I see him.

You can't use the future tense in subordinate clauses of time, you can only use the present tense.

More examples:
  • We will have dinner ---(when?)--->
