Why do you like the poem

Because of the beautiful metaphor of bird describing hope. Secondly, the language of the poem which is simple and easy to comprehend and lastly, the main idea of the poem: hope sustains us in the overwhelming circumstances.

Are these sentences grammatically correct, natural and correctly punctuated? Is it grammatical to start a sentence with the conjunction 'because'?

Thanks in advance.
