Why do you have to be such a killjoy/wet blanket?

Which of these two sounds more natural to you, native speakers?

Thanks.

Both are kind of dated. Killjoy would be more formal, informal slang would be "buzzkill".

Never heard of 'buzzkill', but 'wet blanket' sounds all right. 'killjoy' is probably not as often used as 'wet blanket', though it's completely understandable. I have used both. I can't speak for the frequency of 'buzzkill'.
