Why do you always omit me from the team?
Does it sound natural?
Granted that the main definiton of omit is to leave out or excluse, would it be correct to presume that omit can be used in this format, too?
Furthermore, is the following example correct?
I've omitted my tests(=failed).

Why do you always omit me from the team? is OK, but more usual is Why do you always leave me off / out of ...
I've omitted my tests means that you have not taken them. Omit does not mean fail.
