I learned that we use present perfect for actions which started in the past and are still happening now or for finished actions which have a connection to the present.
I can understand that as long as the writer use present perfect, we need to consider what the connection is.
But I cannot understand what the writer implies in the paragraph below. Could you please tell me reasons why he/she used present perfect in the second and third sentences?
Ando has helped to plan the project from the beginning. He has also worked on the Omotesando Hills and the Church of Light. He has won dozens of international awards for his designs. He believes in the Japanese tradition of living in harmony with nature. In many of his projects, he tries to bring nature into city life……………
In the paragraph, I think the first sentence ,"Ando has helped to plan the project from the beginning", tell us the duration of the activity.
So, it infers that Ando began to help it at a specific time and now he is still helping it. I can understand why the writer use present perfect.
But I cannot understand what the writer infers in the second and third sentences.
I think it is possible to use past simple grammatically instead of present perfect because The Omotesando Hills and The Church of Light was already built in the past and he won awards in the past.
(He has also worked on the Omotesando Hills and the Church of Light. ?He worked on the Omotesando Hills and the Church of Light.)
(He has won dozens of international awards for his designs.?He won dozens of international awards for his designs.)
But, the writer used present perfect.
It means the writer wants to express that the past events or actions which have a connection to the present in the second and third sentences
But I cannot understand what the writer implies in the paragraph.
Could you please tell me some examples about connection? Why did he/she use present perfect? Thank you.

Those sentences illustrate the use of the so-called "experiential" present perfect. They tell the reader about the life experiences of Ando. There is nothing about duration her
He has also worked on the Omotesando Hills and the Church of Light. The Present Perfect suggests that this experience is useful in the current situation, ie in the new project.
He has won dozens of international awards for his designs. In other words, he has wonderful design skills.
