I am a Taiwanese teacher of English. The answer to the question is B. Many of my students think C and D are also acceptable. What do native speakers think?

The teacher who wrote the question said the answer was B.

Man: I think you ate too much and too late last night.

Woman: No, you're wrong. I didn't eat anything at all.

I would agree with Ali.

I also find something a little strange in the man's comment. There's an ellipsis of a 2nd "ate"; but the first "ate" is transitive, while the second must be intransitive.
