Why did my instructor mark this wrong?

Hello, I migrated to the Boston, USA as visa student from Hong Kong 3 years ago and I think my language skills in the English language are okay.

However, when I submitted my essay, the instructor marked the following wrong?

"Despite all my struggles, I still did not draw too good"

- the instructor circled "good", why?

and also

"If you hire me, your sure to be amazed at my abilities"

- why was "your" also circled?

The instructor took off several marks unfairly.

"Good" is an adjective. You need an adverb to modify "draw." It should be, "I still did not draw too well."

"Your" is a possessive pronoun. Your sentence needs "you're", which is a contraction for "you are."

Also, Boston does not take "the."

"The instructor took off several marks unfairly." We would say, "the in
