Why did I volunteer?

I volunteer XXX for two main reasons: to benefit the magazine and for my own sake.

As I feel valued and part of the team, I want to benefit XXX with my professional skills and knowledge. As XXX aims at supporting and promoting young writers and talent, I think it worth volunteering.

As for myself, I'll aquire new skills, knowledge, and experience while developing the existing ones. Besides, it will enhance my confidence and self-esteem. Lastly, I'll have a positive activity for my leisure.
