Why dictionary spell 'parallel' in this way? par-al-lel

why it is not 'pa-ra-llel' or some other format?

why it is this format? from pronociation or for better remeber?

Concerning the spelling of a word, it is extremely difficult to argue with a dictionary.

Parallel is spelled as it is.

Basically, the same goes for pronunciation. That is just the way it is.
