Why definite article in one and not in another?

Hi. Please help. Why is that the no. 1 example has to have the definite article, whereas the no. 2 example does not, if it is indeed the case? I am sorry for not providing you with a complete sentence for the no. 2 example. It's hard sometimes.

1) An essay has the introduction, the body and the conclusion.
2) A human being has a head, a stomach and ...

Well, that's just it. It doesn't have to. In fact, I think if you rewrite 1, modeling it on 2, you will have a better sentence:

An essay has an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.
