Why aren't you team anymore?

Hi

Could you please tell me why there is no article before the highlighted words? Also, can I put the article?

This is storybook. [Madam Bovary]

This is storybook,” he had mumbled earlier, when Emma attempted to explain her feelings: “I know you love me; I know you're good to me. ..

A- Why aren't you team anymore?

B- Because by the end of the contract, the deception was so open...

Many thanks for your time,

Tom

Not sure about "B."

Depending on his reason for mumbling, he may have simply left it out.
Or, he may be using "storybook" like an adjective, to describe something.

"Team" could also be used as an adjective. "Why aren't you a team player anymore?" "Why aren't you a member of the team anymore?"

The usage could be something like, "He doesn't seem like family anymore.

Just a thought. The word team is sometimes used without an article as in Team America/England etc. So perhaps this team's name is simply left out/implied (possibly our team).
