I'm on bed
I'm in bed.
I'm in bed is correct ,why?

I am on the bed m eans that you are sitting or lying atop the furniture. I am in bed means that you are between the sheets, under the covers, probably preparing to go to sleep (or not quite ready to get up in the morning).
